About the Role The Project Management (PM) group is one of several teams that provide support for SAP C/4HANA. Our primary role is to act as the main point of contact between SAP C/4HANA, our customers, and their solution integrators during the project phase. We organize and manage activities related to the launch of our customers’ ecommerce solutions. We also manage migration or upgrade projects for existing customers and act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for several customer and internal projects – your role extends from evaluating a project’s initial charter, to discussing its scope and deliverables with the customer, and through to its completion and handover to the operations team. You must also be capable of working in a collaborative environment to solve strategic issues alongside your colleagues on our internal teams as well as customer representatives and solution integrators. You will drive customer satisfaction by communicating proactively with your assigned customers, answering their inquiries, and providing updates on critical issues, while shepherding your projects through their milestones on time. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with customers in planning and implementing activities related to their SAP C/4HANA solutions Drive projects to completion on time, without escalations, and to our customers’ satisfaction, while adhering to standard methodologies, tools, and procedures Identify and monitor project risks, prepare mitigation plans, and take appropriate action in a timely manner Coordinate with internal support teams to meet all operational and performance requirements and ensure that project handoffs are successful Capture project metrics and ensure that they are clearly communicated to all stakeholders Identify the need for project change requests, assess their impact, and track their progress Participate in project kickoff meetings, weekly and monthly project meetings, and project closeout meetings Develop and maintain strong working relationships with various internal support teams and other stakeholders Maintain and expand your working knowledge of current and future SAP CX offerings and products, as well as their integration procedures and methods of support delivery Keep up to date on industry topics and competing products Share best practices to enhance the quality and efficiency of our customer support Participate in scheduled holiday and after-hours support activities Skills and Qualifications General: Fluency in English Analytical, detail-oriented personality Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and work under pressure Positive, proactive, and customer-focused attitude Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or an equivalent combination of educational and work experience in a related field) 5 years of experience working in IT project management 3 years of experience in customer-facing engagements 2 years of experience managing Cloud infrastructure projects Advanced knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, etc.) Ability to travel on-site to visit customers or for internal workshops Desired: Fluency in at least one major language other than English Basic knowledge of database/storage projects One or more ITIL certifications PMP or PMI certification One or more technology certifications SAPCXCareers WHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
