PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES We are seeking an experienced product manager with a passion for cloud-based technologies to help transform our software into a first-class citizen of the cloud. Our product managers own the delivery of key initiatives in our roadmap. They actively shape and contribute to our strategic direction, work across product domains and build strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve key business objectives. They evangelize their products and the strategies and principles they are based on. They provide the vision and hands-on leadership to tackle immediate and long-term challenges and establish clear strategies that meet both functional and technical requirements. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Build market-leading and innovative software based on the principles of cloud Gather, analyse, and prioritize product requirements and incorporate these into the backlog Work closely with the product management team, architects, engineers, quality managers, and UX designers and help translate business requirements into quality technical solutions Based on technical feasibility, sustainability, team estimates and capacity, decide appropriate release timelines, adjust features and priorities as needed Be an integrated part of the development team and continuously work with them to deliver high quality product iterations in the role of a product owner Act as subject matter expert to support your product and enable the sales and services organization for success Communicate product capabilities and plans to internal and external audiences Manage the product through the whole product lifecycle EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES BS in Computer Science or equivalent Required skills Demonstrated success defining and delivering excellent software products Comfortable with change and collaborates well with development teams in an agile environment Experienced in leading product initiatives, continuously plan, report progress, and deliver milestones Strong knowledge of commerce products and commerce domain expertise Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good problem-solving skills, and an ability to work with technical and non-technical staff Verbal and written fluency in English language Preferred skills Knowledge of SaaS and micro services technologies Good understanding of distributed application architectures WORK EXPERIENCE 3-6 years of product management experience for commercial products SAPCXCareers SAPComCloud WHAT YOU GET FROM US Success is what you make it.
